Kume Japanese Sushi Steakhouse

I ordered three different types of sushi rolls to take home for my adult son, and was shocked to be charged $80 for just three rolls. When we got home, we discovered that they only provided one of the rolls, yet charged us for all three. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 10 and the service maybe a 4 out of 10—4 would be generous. I will definitely not be returning.

My server, Will is the best. He loves his job from the bottom of his heart. We come every Friday from 40 minutes away to see him, he brings us joy. If he opens up a restaurant, we will be there. I’ve visited this restaurant three times—twice with family, where we enjoyed the hibachi experience, which was fantastic! The NY steak served with noodles and vegetables was absolutely delicious. The servers were friendly and efficient, and the chef was very entertaining. On my third visit, I dined in the regular seating area, which was comfortable and had a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Tonight, I opted for takeout to try a few different dishes. I ordered the Beef Negimaki, Duck Spring Rolls, and Lobster Rangoons from the appetizer menu, and they were all amazing! For my main course, I chose the Teriyaki Salmon and paid a little extra for fried rice instead of white rice. I received two generous portions of salmon, overflowing with vegetables, and it was simply delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!
