The reason for 3 stars was they don't wash the pans before they reuse them. My pizza tasted like onions and green peppers but as you can see, I don't have any. It smelled like sausage but my pieces didn't taste like sausage. My daughter said her crust tasted like rotten cheese but I didn't taste that on mine. I won't be going back since I am the onlyone in the family who likes green peppers and nobody likes onions and I am figuring the next pizza would be the same. I do give kudos to the front staff though. They kept the front clean and they were friendly.
My work brought in a bunch of Doughboys pizza last weekend and it was great. My favorite was the inferno, and pepperoni pizzas, nice and spicey but not melt your face off spicy, and the pepperoni had tons of pepperoni. The crust was nice and thin new York style not just a bunch of bread like alot of other places. I only give 4 stars because after looking the menu to maybe order some for the family on my own the price is pretty high. Definitely a special occasion typeplace.
Ordered a bunch of larges for my kids birthday party. Pie was great. Good cheese, good ranch. Tired of Pizza Hut nickel and diming me for parmesan and peppers. Doughboyz respects its customers enough to provide these on the house. Will be back. Good vibes, good food.
The decor is great. The entertainment was great. You can't mess up bottled beverages, but I'll be skipping the pizza. We have eaten there 2x and ordered delivery 1x, so they have had multiple chances in my book. Even my pizza-loving child refused to finish a slice with their favorite toppings. Go for the bands, enjoy a drink and the games. Who knows, maybe you'll like the pizza. As for me and mine, we'll eat before we get there.
Second time ordering pizza here. Fis rst time decent. Not fantsatic, but close and convenient. This time I THOUGHT I ordered two 14 pizzas. Used the Google ordering system BECAUSE when I called they were very busy and I was asked to try to order online or my wait would likely be very long. That was when I should have ordered elsewhere. But I ignored the flashing warning lights in my head. When I picked up my pizzas and after paying about $45 with a $5 tip, I received twoovercooked 10 pizzas. The owner explained that the Google service takes a fee and I should have used his website to order, I explained that I had tried but the website was down. He said, ya, our payment system made it crash or somethingof that nature. The cashier said I should have called. ???? It was at that moment I knew I was up against forces beyond my desire to argue or offer reason under the circumstance. So if you want to spend $45 bucks for two small pizzas thatwould compare to a frozen Red Baron thin crust with coagulated red sauce that now looks like red toothpaste. Then, this is your place! But I will say the toppings I chose were represented on the pizzas but they were mixed up rather than oneach pizza as I ordered them to be. Live and learn. Sklp doughboys unless they get a whole lot better. Pro tip for business owners, when your website is down, instead of directing the customer to use it (even though he can 't) to avoidexcessive fees, maybe offer a coupon on a future order?
