Maverik Adventure's First Stop - Tooele

9/12/22 Do not even recognize that a card is present. Maverik does not seem to care about the convenience for commuters. The lines are long for the two people. There was only one check-out this morning. However, there are self-checks when you get an authorization code, and all the others is also, the line for the actual person is longer. The time it takes to try to fail, go to the line, get authcode, go pump gas... I could already be on the road. I usually fill in the city every 5 days. Time to turn it off as I officially go to the Chevron in Lake Point for my Gas Pre-Comute. BELLEN CHIP READERS!!!! Chip readers on pumps never work. In December 2021, an employee told me they got a new chip reader system. Today they don't know.

Recently updated, clean, barbecue inside, fresh food, good prices for gas.

Quite disappointed by the recent experience of employees in this place. You have bad card readers that they can fix 't/won't so that you go to pay in. If you pay within you can get the nitro discount applied. When I asked the staff about it, the manager cried and said they couldn't do anything about it. It doesn't seem right. I had similar problems in other places in the past and had gone out of the way to fix problems. I get problems that happen, but bad personal reactions make a big difference to let customers come back.

Card readers at the pump never work. They do not want them, so customers are forced to go to the store and spend money. Go back!

Got gas and had a reward to use in the store but wasn?t sure how to use it. Cashier, Addie, was so helpful and kind to show me how. I love this Maverick and the people that work there.
