With much due respect in your legacy, retire, sell to someone whom has a much better interest in reviving a modern supper club..I live right close buy, and I can't reconcile even going to this place..I've heard he's irritable, crabby, rude and on top of it the food is seriously lackluster..He joked one time when I asked if they make old fashioned from scratch. His answer was so condescending and further conversation that was pathetic..I paid for my meal to go and left it at the bar and went home..I told the kind host waitress, give this meal to a homeless person that really needs it. It's time to quit just like Biden.

Since there is no competition I guess he can get away with slow, horrible service and nasty carpet. Sad. However, a big variety of menu choices and the steaks are decent.

Always a good meal. Always fresh homemade soup. Mathew is hilarious.

Mathew is a really wonderful guy! Interesting life story. What's even better is his food and prices!! We had a miserable travel experience through Chicago to visit our family in Clintonville. Mathew's was a great antidote!! Great, tasty steaks, shrimp cocktail and sides! Fabulous food at unbelievable prices!! Taking our family there tonight!!
