Contribuiți la feedbackI was anticipating a rustic ambiance, but I must agree with another reviewer that the carpet could use some attention. On the bright side, the rest of the place was clean, and the gentleman who delivered our food was quite friendly. The presentation of the food was appealing, and the waffle fries were perfectly crispy! The garlic bread burger and the Philly cheesesteak were both tasty, though I found the burger to be on the thin side and cooked more than I prefer. I do appreciate the automated soap and towel dispensers in the restroom. Overall, I wish the restaurant all the best, but I’m not sure we’ll return anytime soon.
The ladies at Bean Brew recommended this place for a hamburger, as I wasn't in the mood for sandwiches. I had the Ortega Burger, and it was fantastic—fresh bun, crisp lettuce, everything was just right. The staff were really nice too!
The dining experience was mediocre at best, but it's Tonopah, so expectations weren't high. I ordered the tri-tip burrito, which consisted of meat, lettuce, and red sauce wrapped in a basic tortilla. It was bland but still edible. The cashier oddly didn't ask if I wanted a drink and didn’t offer any water. My friend ordered a grilled cheese with ham, which reminded me of a simple lunch mom would make for her kids—nothing special, just standard American cheese. The BLT was acceptable, but it lacked mayo and was only toasted on one side. Overall, the restaurant could really use a remodel; the carpet was quite dirty. But we got our food, didn’t get sick, and left with full stomachs. We hit the road afterwards.
Amazing food and amazing service. The owner Albert was there and he recommended the brisket sandwich because he smokes it himself. It was so good. My boyfriend, who wasn't planning on eating because he wasn't hungry, ended up eating half of it. The coleslaw was possibly the best I've ever had and I make a mean coleslaw. Since the brisket came with coleslaw included I still got to choose a side. Went with the waffle fries and was not disappointed. Owner said they are working on their liquor license which would be the icing on the cake. We will definitely be making this a regular stop on our trips through Tonopah.
I've been visiting this restaurant since 1997. Last year, AC Bar and Grill took over, but they've kept the same cook for the past 10 years. I absolutely love the food, especially the Indian taco and all the various flavors of ice cream!
