Creperie Les Vieux Volets - Tonnerre

That is a very special creamperie. an interesting interior, attentive service and many good choices on the menu.

The nice woman and I had lunch here recently. the gallets and crepes are beautiful and cheap. next time we are in the opposite we will dive again

A small restaurant, with very friendly and attentive staff. we did not try the crepes, but had the specials instead, beautiful salads that were better suited for the hot weather when we were there.

The eating of crepes was on our list the must dos and we have luck with this. we were in tonerre looking for somewhere to eat lunch on a wet and wild summer day and stumbled on creperie les vieux volets. the decor is welcoming, secret and relaxed with jazz gently playing in the background to complement the ambiente. we received a smiling reception and were given immediately menus. menus have an English translation, should you eat French need some help. the choice is diverse, with numerous galettes (savouries) and dessert-crepes for selection, as well as salads and a special board. the usual selection of drinks, including a very beautiful Demi-sec cidre that I can recommend. eating didn't take much time to be served, but it wasn't busy. the galettes were well cooked and tasty. three of us enjoyed following a dessert crepe, just as delicious. the bill was appropriate for four in the environment and we escaped the worst of the showers. could not ask for more! happy to recommend this creamperie.
