Royal Oak Beefeater Grill

We stopped for breakfast on a longish journey. One of our daughters was also feeling poorly but our server Emma was excellent. Service from her was brilliant and she greeted us with a very warm and friendly personality.

Really disappointing bland tasteless meal, for the price and comparing what you can get in other establishments for a similar price, it’s just not comparable. Go elsewhere. Very sorry looking/tasting meal indeed.

Just had an amazing Sunday roast sharing platter. Meat cooked to perfection, and our waitress,Stacey, could not have been more helpful. She was very cheery and smiled all the time. Yes, we waited 30 minutes for the food , but it was worth the wait.

Came in as a family with a newborn for lunch today, we had Susan as our waitress overall fantastic experience and not the first time we have had Susan here. She is fantastic and a great laugh, food was good as usual. 5 stars for Sue that lady deserves a pay rise!!

Went for a family lunch ages from 3 months -80 years, we were served by a lovely lady called Sue. My sister had a veggie burger which she said was really good. I had a normal burger which was also good. 4 adults. With starters (double fried chicken), main and desert (the apple pie/crumble thing) drinks and a kids meal and ice cream came to £90. All the food was piping hot when it arrived to the table. Sue was attentive and was lovely with our youngest eater. Made us laugh too! Would definitely go again when we are back in the area! Hope we get Sue again! If you want a great value place to take the family I’d recommend going here for a lunch!
