Pound Fish - Tonbridge and Malling

The tempura batter on the fresh fish was delicious and the price was very reasonable. The chips were outstanding! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It's a good idea to order ahead of time as it can get very busy when open. The staff were very friendly.

On Friday evening, the restaurant was very busy but our order was taken quickly and we were informed of a 10-15 minute wait. There was a mix-up with our order initially but it was promptly fixed. The cod and chips were delicious, however, those who ordered sausage and chips thought it was overpriced and that the sausage should be larger for the price. Overall, I would order from here again as the service was very friendly.

The restaurant offers generously sized portions of freshly cooked fish and chips made to order for takeout. The staff is friendly and the large cod portion is enough to feed two people. The prices are reasonable for the south of England.

Last minute decision to have fish and chips with the mother in law, popped in Friday early evening, straight to the counter, made my order, then realised they don't take cash, thankfully there is a cash machine outside the co op 2 minutes along the road. When I got back a queue had appeared from no where, however they hadn't forgotten about my order I paid, waited another couple of minutes and was handed a big bag of F&C. ...and... it was really, really good!

Only have a a handful of chip shop dinners in a year and probably had 4 from here now and all been very good. Fish is all cooked to order so phone ahead if you can, but generally not a long wait if you don't, even when busy. Just finished tonight's one and Haddock was piping hot and crispy right to the end.
