Costa Coffee - Tonbridge and Malling

I have been visiting this restaurant since it opened, but today I have decided not to anymore! The tables were dirty with cups and trays on most of them, which seems to be a regular occurrence. During several visits, the coffee was lukewarm and the staff were not welcoming...I definitely do not want to go back there! They are too busy chatting with each other even when there is a long line of customers waiting, and they seem uninterested in providing good service. If I'm going to spend close to £7 on a coffee, I expect better quality and service! It's frustrating to have to repeatedly ask for a knife or spoon for my coffee.

I went to this restaurant and was disappointed by the dirty, unkempt environment. While the staff were friendly and quick, the windows and ceilings were covered in dirt and dead bugs, the furniture was stained and a mishmash of styles, and the tables were sticky. The overall atmosphere was very off-putting.

I recently visited the Costa Coffee shops at Kingshill for the first time since the pandemic. I noticed that there were 6 signs at the doors addressing COVID-19 protocols and hand sanitiser available. While some customers were not wearing face masks, many were. However, I observed that many people were not practicing social distancing or following guidelines. It is not fair to expect young girls working there to enforce these rules, but the management should ensure compliance. If they are unable to adhere to the law, they should consider closing as they seem to prioritize profits over safety. This franchise has the resources to enforce these measures. Unfortunately, I will not be returning as I am concerned about the lack of safety measures in place.

Terrible. would not recommend. I was the only one in the load, I ordered 4 drinks, 2 cold and 2 hot. take away. they made the 2 hot first these sat there for a good 5 minutes, while the 2 girls laughed behind the screen, joked and finally made my 2 cold drinks brilliant. I have two cold coffees now. will not go back. absolutely terrible!

Absolutely awful .....surly serving staff......one off duty ? having a rest ? sitting with her shoes off and her feet on the chair in the widow stuffing her face with a bun whilst on her mobile ....... pay a lot for that type of marketing!!...It must attract just the right sort of clientele ! The toilets were disgusting the tables filthy...... my wife had a tea cake which had a long white hair in it......... we would usually complain but see earlier reference to surly scary staff and its only a tea cake ........ We left .....rapidly.......
