The Refuge Steakhouse Bourbon - Tomball

Great overall dining experience! Nick, our very knowledgeable server, suggested we have the Sawgrass Bourbon to start old fashion and put the stage for the rest of our evening. Perfect cocktails, food and atmosphere. Will definitely be back here when we're in the area!

We had a wonderful meal here! The food is amazing and the service was incredible. That was a special evening for me and they made it even better. The pictures don't do food justice, but we just couldn't help.

Atmosphere and service was great. Drink menu was also great. Extensive selection of Bourbon. I had an old fashion that was excellent. Eating was good, but portions were on the small side. I had the halibut that was good, but left me hungry. The woman had a salad that was just okay, nothing great about it. Overall a good place to go and out for a night.

Fantastic dinner and great live music! We sat on the terrace that quickly filled on a Saturday night. There was a live band playing and the ambience was beautiful. Our waiter, Karis, was incredibly knowledgeable and cared for us. You have an extensive whisky collection and special drinks menu. We ate the pig bell 3 ways as an appetizer, the sea bass and the lamb frame for dinner with Bacon wrapped scallops as an additional add-on. The sea bass and the scallops were good, but both over cooked and on the solid side. We enjoyed it, but probably not order again. The lamb was perfectly cooked and amazing. We will return defitely to try some other of their menu items, especially those cooked on their wooden fire grill.

The staff was the best part of our visit? everyone we engaged with made us feel so special and welcome. The cocktails were absolutely outstanding. I felt the meal was right in the cusp of greatness but just barely missing the mark of my high expectations. Overall great experience and will return!
