District 249 Grill - Tomball

The owner greeted me and asked if I needed anything to let him know. We arrived to see my nephew Tyler Trantham open up for the Bag of Donuts. Wow what a great evening! We had a blast and the crowd was awesome. Let me tell you folks this place has it going on. Haven't been here since it was Virginia City and my friend owned it. Love what they have done with the place. I can't wait to go back! Thanks for a great evening!

Really really busy place very cool place to have birthday parties for teenagers as well as adult parties later in the night they have volleyball and all kinds of TVs to watch the game. The service was a little slow because there were so many people to be waiting on so I won't hold it against them. Great place to have great time.

At first, my GPS led me to believe I was heading to a bar and grille, which made me uncertain if I had arrived at the right place for a volleyball tournament. To my surprise, there were plenty of sand volleyball courts, and the waitstaff was excellent. The food was tasty, and while the drinks were just okay, they were good enough not to detract from my overall experience. I had a fantastic time and found myself wishing I had brought my family along, as there was ample space for kids to play. I noticed that many of the children quickly became friends and genuinely enjoyed themselves. Additionally, the venue is dog-friendly, making it a great spot for those who want to bring their furry companions along.

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time, but I was pretty disappointed and won’t be returning. Although the atmosphere was great, the service was truly terrible. We ordered crawfish, but they were tough and seemed to be seasoned only after being cooked. The bartender was indifferent and inattentive; she never informed us that we needed to take our order ticket to get our crawfish, and we ended up waiting nearly an hour before finally inquiring about our food. The drinks were also unimpressive. They advertised a free pound of crawfish for military personnel, so I showed my military ID, but I was still charged for the free pound. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place and suggest that others avoid it as well. Just go to Little Woodrows nearby instead.

When the server brought our food, we pointed out the issues with the order. She acknowledged us, then left and never returned or called our waitress over. Our waitress also didn’t come back to check on us or offer drink refills. I had to flag down another server to get our fries remade, but by that time, my burger had gone cold. After finishing our meals, no one came to help us close out our tab, so I had to flag down a server again and request to speak with the manager. When the manager arrived, I explained the awful service we experienced, just as our waitress walked up. He turned to her and simply said we wanted to close out our tab and then walked away, without offering any acknowledgment of my concerns or an apology. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've experienced poor service here. We decided to give it another try, but it seems things haven't improved at all!
