The Windmill Ice Cream Shoppe

This place is fabulous. The boats only have three scoops by their definition. The cup has only 2. It was worth the drive.

It has good ice cream with a wide variety of flavors although it is small.

This place is a must if you're in the area. You really only need to order a one scoop as the portions are huge!

Just visit the Windmill Ice Cream Shoppe while we live in a private holiday home close to it. Quaint Excellent Service Ice Cream! Order only 2 scoops if you are very UNGRY! The 1 Scoop is very generous, especially for a tourist area! So reasonable! Enjoy! So happy these places still exist!!

We stayed for a week at Lake Nokomis and met this place 2 times on our stay. The staff was great! And they were incredibly efficient to get people through the line. They stack these cones like professionals. They also spin flavors so that one day they could have a taste you love the next day, it can not be available. Remember to bring cash. You don't take a card!
