The service at this restaurant is terrible. Every time I visit, I am completely ignored no matter the occasion. It seems as though the owner only caters to customers who spend a lot of money, especially on the Bonsai dishes. I even conducted an experiment by visiting with different groups of people to see if we would be treated differently, but unfortunately, the poor service remained consistent. It is disappointing and I regret ever spending my money there in the first place.
This café is a great spot for a relaxing coffee break. The music creates a calming atmosphere and there is a fantastic small play area for children. Unfortunately, the only downside is that there are no restroom facilities available. This was especially problematic for my 2-year-old granddaughter, as there are no public toilets in the entire shopping area. This put a damper on our coffee date experience.
This café is in my top five places for coffee in Wagga Wagga. I compared normal flax with whole milk with the following criteria: 1. Balanced milk coffee ratio 2. Notes of bitterness 4. Served at...a perfect temperature 5. Sweet and without the addition of sugar 6. Well presented 7. Consistent. My Top Five Coffee Places are listed in alphabetical order now: Alex and Michelle’s Cafe Country Bonsai Cafe and Garden Centre The Blessed Bean Trail Street Coffee Shop Wes’ Walkabout
This was the third time I had been and had coffee and something to eat here. Coffee is always great. I found a hair in my roll but felt it wouldn't have been well received if I had mentioned it. So just left it on...the plate.
