The Chop House - Toledo

My wife and I have visited this restaurant about four times, and we've never had a negative experience. The food is consistently outstanding, and the service is top-notch. Our latest visit was yesterday, as we celebrated our 10th anniversary, and once again, we were impressed by the excellent service and delicious meals. The espresso-rubbed filet and sea scallops are among the best I've ever tasted. As a food enthusiast who has dined at many excellent restaurants, I would put this one up against any of them. We truly love this place and everyone who works there, and we highly recommend it!

Now let's talk about the food: we started with the lobster bites, which were tender and encased in a delicate batter—simply mouthwatering! For my main course, I had the Chilean Sea Bass, which was seasoned perfectly, and the bouillabaisse was incredibly rich in flavor. Hector ordered the Braised Short Ribs, and they were so tender they practically melted in your mouth. For dessert, we had the Tres Leches cake. It was a bit dense, but the accompanying sauces elevated it significantly. Hector mentioned we should have tried the Banana Foster, and he might be right. Nevertheless, it was an overall wonderful experience. The relaxing ambiance allowed us to fully enjoy an amazing dinner. It truly felt like an upscale fine dining experience!

The atmosphere is by far the best in the industry! The dinner selection is outstanding, at the very least. We visited to celebrate a birthday and received excellent service throughout our experience. The prices are perfectly aligned with the quality of service, setting, and food. If you're looking for the best in Toledo, you must go to The Chop House. If you want to impress your guests, don't miss this opportunity!

Just finished a great evening at Chop House with family. Delicious meals, amazing service... an excellent addition to Toledo. Nice and busy too, great to see! I had the seafood platter, deviled eggs, Wellington, and chocolate dessert. All excellent!

Excellent!!! This has become our new town favorite! TJ was the best server we’ve had there, very personable!
