Bayside Deli - Tokeland

So surprised by this little gem! Did not expect much but wowwed by quality and price. The burger was sensational and the prawns were huge. The club should be shared lol. We ate here 3 times during our short stay. Great value and great food.

While traveling, if there is a Casino nearby, we usually check for meal deals. While visiting in Grayland, WA we saw the Shoalwater Bay Casino was nearby and looked up their website. Featured on the site was Free Burger Wednesday. It was Wednesday so we thought we 'd try it out. The Shoalwater Bay Casino is a small casino by anyone 's standards, but big in positive attitude and service. As you go through the front door, a woman was behind the counter who answers the phone. She directed us to the Deli which is really a snack bar in the back. Ample seating. Very nice people manning the snack bar. We asked about Free Burger Wednesday and found it was a BOGO buy one get one free. It comes with Fries or Tots. That We ordered that and also a side of Jalapeno poppers. They asked what kind of cheese we wanted and listed 4 different kinds, we selected Pepper Jack. While waiting, we saw that people were coming from a salad bar. I went to look and saw real salad greens, not an iceberg lettuce mix, freshly made potato salad, artichoke hearts, feta cheese, craisins, etc. Small but high quality. I asked the man at the counter how much for a side salad. He said $1.50. I ordered 2 on the spot. It was delicious. When our burgers came out they were big with those big freshly made buns that you see nowadays instead of the normal white cheap buns. Lots of fires and tots on the plate. The fries were steak fries and tasted incredibly fresh. A huge order of Jalepeno poppers, I should 've counted them, but there was over 10 huge poppers cooked perfectly. After the great salad bar, we could only eat half our burgers and fries/tots and took the rest for lunch the next day. BONUS: The casino gives free beverages including Ocean Spray products which are produced locally. We tried a few different beverages and after they have fresh coffee and delicious hot chocolate. I saw that Fish and Chips was only $8 for 3 pieces. I 'll have to come back.
