Tofino Coffee Roasting Company Cafe

Spent a week in Tofino with some friends and this was by far our favourite coffee shop. The croissants are amazing and the staff are so friendly they make you feel like you’ve been going there for years.

What an odd experience entering this coffee shop was. A couple was standing off to the side waiting for drinks that an employee was making them. Behind her there was another employee that kept looking up at us with what I can only describe as a stink eye. I assumed we were just waiting for the first employee to finish up and then we'd order from them. After a few minutes the 2nd employee came up to the till and started emptying the tip chair. Odd. After waiting a solid 3-4 minutes with no greeting at all they looked up and asked us what we'd like in a less than friendly way. I made the (I guess) mistake of asking for an iced drink, that definitely got an eye roll. The 1st employee happily made our drinks but I was given a lid that requires a straw poked through the middle and was then informed they don't have straws. I can't even tell you if the coffee was good because my traitorous sensitive teeth wouldn't let me sip out of the cup with the ice clacking against them. Waste of time money.

It’s a small place with no seating, so take out only. The place did get busy but lines moved quickly and it does seem like the staff recognized their regulars. Coffee and hot chocolate was good.

A wonderful local coffee shop. Went in with my teenagers for a great flat white and some fresh made cookies. The staff were very helpful, nice a friendly. We back the next morning and there were even more snacks ! Tough decisionsWill be next when we are back in town.

A lovely little place to grab a quality cappuccino, complete with a charming patio out front to enjoy your drink. Definitely worth a visit!
