El gusto at hotel posada la poza in todos santos has really become a favorite place to which we can escape the crowds of cabo san lucas (where we live) and enjoy wonderfully cooked seafood with views of the pacific from the rooftop terrace. we love to lunch there with friends, have a perfect scratch margarita or two, and wallow in the fresh breezes that come in off the water. every dish we've tried has been terrific, with flawlessly cooked fish (today's was sea bass), shrimp done several ways, and the glorious salads that are both beautiful to look at and deliciously composed of freshest local ingredients. service is calm and unhurried, and the vibe is welcoming and peaceful. the folks who own and run this gem are just lovely, and truly want you to enjoy their hospitality. a little difficult to find, but just follow the signs for "posada la poza" once you "almost" get into downtown todos santos. well worth the short dirt road trip toward the ocean, and very reasonably priced for such fine quality. enjoy!

Superior service, food, atmosphere! I mostly chose fish and chicken, my husband tried the beef dishes. We also had breakfast there, it is a must! Everything was superb! We stayed at the boutique hotel, it was awesome. Every detail is thought out for your pleasure. Amazing gardens, and views. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Artwork was beautiful.

Every meal...from breakfast to a lunch on the upper deck to a quiet dinner, in the dining room with a view of the Pacific....excellente!

We decided to make our way through the gate, walls and security around Posada Del Poza and to ElGusto for a late lunch/early dinner. Despite the somewhat fortress feeling, odd hours and no access to the gardens it was worth it. The staff and service were very gracious and friendly. The view from the Whale Deck is fabulous. The small menu had a good selection of flavours and food. We chose the Chiles Rellenos and smoked tuna flautas. Both had good fresh flavours and were of ample size. The salad that along with the tuna was particularly delicious. It was also a treat to be able to taste the smoked tuna as sometimes that flavour can be too subtle for this sort of treatment.
