Rustic Kitchen - Tlalnepantla

The presentation of the grilled octopus was just as delightful as the taste. The staff was friendly, however not everyone fluent in the English language. During my second visit, Google translator was a life saver in more ways than one, when trying to order a meal suitable to my dietary needs.

I have eaten at Rustic Kitchen several times since it is in the same mall as the hotel I stay at for work. I issue that I have is that most of the staff have trouble with English. It isn't their first language though, so I understand that. The other issue is they never seem to have the wine that is listed on the menu. Now that those two issues are out of the way, I'll get to the great things.The flatbread pizza is a good appetizer. It is well done and very tasty. If you are feeling a little adventurous though, try the octopus. It is a very generous portion. You get all eight tentacles that are grilled to perfection and seasoned nicely with sea salt. You may want to brush some of the salt off of your bites because it can get clumped together sometimes. The dipping sauce that comes with it is spicy and fresh. Excellent appetizer.The pastas are very good and all seem to be freshly made. I prefer the risotto though. It was well seasoned and not too wet. For dessert, you absolutely must get the Oreo churros. They are churros with an Oreo cookie exterior and a whipped cream dipping sauce.

Pues desde el inicio te ganan con una hostess (preciosa por cierto) que te recibe y te acompaña a tu mesa.Si vas, trata que sea en viernes, por la noche, hay una banda de jazz que toca bien y a buen volumen. Mientras disfruta un rico mojito (bien preparado) pasta, un rico corte.. la sporciones son grandes, pero para ser sinceros valen cada peso. Eso si, la carta no ha cambiado en un buen tiempo.El lugar por si solo es bonito, discreto, luz tenue.. excelente para la cena romantica o para cerrar algun trato.

El lugar tiene una decoración muy agradable a la vista, sin embargo los platillos salen muy lento y no salen al mismo tiempo, así que cuando llegan los platillos faltantes, los primeros platos ya están fríos.

Rustic Kitchen es un excelente restaurante en en centro comercisl de City Shops. Tiene un chef realmente bueno. Las ensaladas, pizas, pastas y helados son de alta calidad.Adicionalmente los viernes en la noche tienen musica de Jazz, pero solo de 9 a 10:30. Muy recomendable.Posiblemente mi unica queja es que el costo de los vinos es elevado y no tienen varias de las botellas de la carta.
