Chamorros Grill Tizimil - Tizimín

As plain as I could muster in Spanish I ordered ‘pollo tacos’ priced at 24p. What I got was an enchilada plate for 60p. My order was taken by a guy who left on a moped before my order arrived so there was no argument to be had. The owner came by after the meal and listened to my story, apologizing and offered me a drink to compensate. I was driving on and did want drink. Live and learn... is the lesson... I guess... I dunno.

The food was amazing, plentiful, and very affordable. The proprietor came out to serve us personally. Wonderful experience.

The restaurant offers good options of meats and typical Mexican food. But prices are high for the size of the city.

Stringy chicken in my club sandwich and a gristly steak for my wife. Not a happy lunch. Pitcher of Jamaica was quite good.
