We found this place inadvertently walking in the park nearby and we were very impressed by the high quality of food and service. Fish soup is a must and seafood pasta is absolutely delicious! All seafood and pasta lovers find everything they are looking for. Seafood and fish is dress and very delicious! We'll go back to this place right away when we get to Tirana! Thank you.
Amazingly sweet seafood, good price, service and quality.
In short, a stunning meal of simplicity and skill. Tirana is known for its seafood, and while the very popular Fishop on the other side of the city gets a lot of press, we can't see how it is possible to beat a lunch at The Fish Restaurant. We had the place to ourselves at 2pm on a Saturday, and we were a little confused when we still hadn't seen a menu after having been seated for a few minutes. But that's because they don't have one! It's rare to find a chef and venue that are comfortable shifting with the vagaries of the season, but more often than not it elevates a meal to a completely new level as we experienced at The Fish. There were around a half dozen options, including mussels, two varieties of whole fish, squid, and pasta costing around the 500 LEK mark each (some more, some less). Their tomato and cucumber bruschetta was the perfect starter, together with a fresh arugula, tomato and Parmigiano Reggiano salad. With impeccable timing we were served our main courses grilled sea bass and a seafood linguini. The pasta was packed full of the freshest seafood, but it was the sea bass that blew us away. So tender, delicate and flavoursome we could have easily cleaned up another one! The house wine was crisp, slightly acidic and accompanied the seafood brilliantly. Even better, it was Albanian and only 200 LEK for a very generous glass! The entire meal cost us around 2400 LEK, and it would have to be the best value especially for seafood that we've encountered in our travels through the Balkans. Go there, you won't regret it!
I just had dinner at the Fish and i must say. The food is amazing! The entry was delicious, the fresh fish was perfectly cooked and the service is great! Price/quality ratio is one of the best! We are definitely coming back. Thank you The Fish!
