Contribuiți la feedbackThe waterfall is the favorite place of my stepdaughter in the world, so we had to visit. After a nice walk it was wonderful to find a welcome stop before you see it. We had apricot flaps and coffee, with almond or oat milk 60p extra (sometimes I buried many places but not here). After a further walk we came back and shared a soup and goulash (which was absolutely skurril) with cloby bread and vitalite spread. We came in early February, so it was nice and cozy and not too busy. You're open all year except Christmas. They always have vegan options from hot food and cakes.
A really beautiful place: waterfall, nature trail, beautiful gift shop and café with many vegetarian and vegan options. The prices are somewhat steep, but there is nothing to stop you a picnic. It is worth a visit, but is a bit jomp. Good shoes recommended. Flip-flops for the falls. Not suitable for buggies or those with mobility problems. Updated by previous review on 2021-09-08
This café was such a treasure! It is about 20 minutes walk from the parking lot through forest and along a river. We had the best vegan chocolate cake I ever had! There were three vegan meal options, everyone was £9.95 and sound great although we were not hungry enough to try each of them. The café is located in the forest next to a waterfall that you can pay for access and is really beautiful. Very recommended!
My stepdaughter absolutely loves The Waterfall, so we made sure to pay a visit during our recent trip. After a lovely walk, we were delighted to stumble upon a cozy café where we enjoyed apricot flapjacks and coffee. I appreciated that they offered almond and oat milks for an additional charge, although I usually dislike this practice at other places. After more walking, we returned to try their soup and goulash, which were both delicious, served with chunky bread and Vitalite spread. We visited in early February and found the atmosphere warm and welcoming, without being too crowded. The café is open year-round, except on Christmas Day, and always offers vegan options for both hot dishes and desserts.
This restaurant is a beautiful place with a waterfall, nature trail, charming gift shop, and café that offers plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. The prices are a bit high, but you can always bring a picnic. It's definitely worth a visit, but be prepared for a bit of a hike. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes, especially if you're headed to the falls. This location is not wheelchair or stroller-friendly.
