Tokyo Steak House - Tinley Park

I've been here a bunch of times. It's a bit different now. I felt rushed to get out of here. Food was very good still. Show from guy cooking was so quick and bam he it out of there. No desert ice cream. They have huge drink cups like you would at home I did like that. They are good to bring you a refills soup and salad where very good. I had steak and shrimp it was still a lot of fun and I still recommend coming here. Had so much fun no photos thank you.

Staff was very courteous. Food was good, but for the price, more should have been provided. Compared to other hibachi restaurants, they skimped on food. With fifteen of us dining, they did not plan food portions appropriately.

We visited this restaurant a few days ago on a Friday night and managed to secure a last-minute reservation. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to accommodate us right away. It seems they've recently renovated part of the space, and it looks fantastic. Everything was very clean. Our hibachi chef was entertaining and friendly, making the experience enjoyable for everyone at the table. Half of our group was trying hibachi for the first time, and he left a great impression. The mushroom soup was delicious, and the ginger salad is a classic favorite. I do wish they had different water cups, as the ones we were given felt a bit unclean to everyone at the table. The meats—shrimp and chicken—were all tasty, and the noodles were addictive while the fried rice was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, and I would definitely come back!

The food was excellent. However, I was disappointed to learn that they require a minimum of two people to dine in the intimate grill setting, as I was really looking forward to the cooking display. The customer service was good, but I deducted one star because they added their own gratuity for a single party lunch meal, which I didn't appreciate at all. The lunch filet and chicken combo hibachi was priced at $19.99 on the menu, plus my drink, but my total ended up around $37.49 after the added gratuity. Despite that, everything else was enjoyable. I would consider ordering for takeout if I come back to the area in the future.

This restaurant was fantastic! I found it through Google when other nearby places were fully booked, and the reviews were positive. It didn’t let me down at all. The service was prompt, which I really appreciated since many hibachi restaurants make you wait until the tables are full before cooking. The food was excellent, and I spent less than $50 per person, including tip. That’s a great deal, especially considering you’ll definitely have enough leftovers for a couple of meals. I highly recommend this place!
