J W Hollstein's Saloon - Tinley Park

The service here is excellent, even during peak times. The food is fantastic, and the staff is composed of wonderful people! UPDATE: Since my last review, the steak appetizer has been changed, and unfortunately, it has completely altered what used to be my favorite dish. I've heard similar feedback from other customers as well. I would appreciate a response regarding this change, if possible.

The crowd here is quite diverse, with people in their 20s stopping by for a quick drink, sports fans enjoying the atmosphere, and older patrons celebrating anniversaries or birthdays in the party space. They have a DJ on Fridays and occasionally on Sundays, which adds to the vibe. The jukebox had a reasonable selection, although it was disappointing in terms of variety; it primarily featured country and rock music. Overall, it seems to cater to the regular crowd. Our group eventually got a little tired of the atmosphere and decided to leave. I would consider coming back to try other menu items and enjoy the DJ, but it wouldn't be my first choice for a destination.

We stopped by after a concert and found the outdoor seating area to be very pleasant, even though the kitchen was closed. If there's a band performing, be aware that there might be a cover charge at the entrance. It's a fun spot to grab a few drinks!

Unusually strange. I've been sitting here 10 minutes and no one has offered me service. I've been coming here for a year now and have never experienced this. People have walked in after me and has been provided service. I would leave but there are peoplemeeting me here and coming from a long distance. I am so saddened. I guess once they get here we can decide on another place inthe area.

It's a great place to hang out with friends, and I absolutely love their pizza!
