Golden Dragon Restaurant - Timmins

I was pleasantly surprised with our meal and takeout experience at the Golden Dragon. It's my first time ordering from here and it won't be my last. For a start they actually pick up the phone here, you don't have to call 15 times. The wait time is reasonable and was accurate to the minute. No trouble picking up the meal at the restaurant either, I called and they came out immediately with my food. Now for the food: it was very tasty and still hot when I got home. We had egg rolls, chicken fried rice, chicken chop suey, chicken balls, S&S shrimp, Hunan beef and General Tao. Everything was great especially the last three items I listed. I will try more items next time. On top of everything, this place looks clean and maintained unlike some of the other places I ordered from before. My only complaint is that I only got 4 fortune cookies for 8 items. My new favourite Chinese restaurant!

Trust the recent reviews. If they wrote it was bad, trust me, it was bad.... Ordered chicken balls and rice balls arrived hard as rock rice bland and mushy. I called and he wasn't going to hear it then sent me a new order The same dam thing either product is low quality or they don't know how to cook what a waste of 35 dollars oh yah I called to say the second round bad as first he flipped and hung up.

Bad service. Food was very disappointing. The rice and won tons were really hard. The dishes were dirty. The ice cream was full of ice... freezer burnt. Shame on them.

The food there is not that good the rice is greasy you one plate and you're getting a stent put in your heart

Chinese food is one of my favourite dishes! I ordered the number one combo sweet and sour chicken balls with rice and an egg roll. The chicken was slimy and the rice was burnt. I was only able to have a few forkfulls before wanting to vomit. I called the resturant where I was told I would have to complain to skip the dishes. I tried to explain they were not the ones who cooked the food. I was hung up on. Will never order from here again still nauseous as I write this review.
