Mac's Fish - Timaru

We had some amazing fish and chips! We've encountered some disappointing ones during our travels around New Zealand, but these were by far the best and very affordable too! I often find myself reminiscing about this meal while I'm back home, eating oven-baked fish and frozen chips. What a difference...

Fantastic little fish and chip shop! The fish is cooked fresh to order, and there are some excellent choices available. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked and nicely presented in a box tucked into a paper bag. They also offer a good selection of burgers, wraps, and more. The service was quick and friendly, making it a great value for money.

This was an excellent spot to stop by while we were passing through Timaru. The fish and chips were reasonably priced, delicious, and the staff were very friendly.

Did something most nz chippies haven't learnt to do.. make fish'n'chips fast! We all agreed the fish( elephant) was probably the nicest fish we've had for many a long year. Great place

Great chips and helped me with my GF needs. While husband love the home made curry rolls. Good parking. Will be back.
