La Mexicana - Tillamook

I just left La Mexicana, and I have to say they serve the best shredded beef I've ever had—seriously, ever! I've tried Mexican food all over the globe, and nothing compares. If you get the chance, definitely stop by and try it. It's homemade and absolutely fantastic!

Quirky little Mexican restaurant in an old house. The place was reasonably clean, but the lone server was lacking energy; I had to wave her down for everything. The food wasn't very good, as it tasted like it had been pre-cooked and then frozen, resulting in a strange texture that was both dry and greasy. The meat and vegetables had an off-putting flavor, although the fresh toppings did help make it somewhat edible. The chips were stale, and neither the salsa nor the bean dip were impressive. After asking for the check, we decided to leave empty-handed, which is unusual for us. That alone speaks volumes. As for wheelchair accessibility, it’s not very accommodating.

This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant but the food was way smaller portions and the quality of the food was horrible obviously quality and quantity are non existence? They need to step back and rethink the way their doing business.

Best salsa I have ever had, it's no wonder they have won awards for it. The food and drinks are amazing and they are almost always busy but the staff is very attentive and wonderful.
