Contribuiți la feedbackIt was just not acceptable. We ran by the afternoon, and I was roasted by the vegetables on the menu, this time there are very few vegetables and fresh fruits to find here! A guy (the owner? told us they opened at 7. We came around 7:05 and a man cried out of the kitchen that they were closed until 07:30. We sat before the restaurant in the cold and around 07:35 they opened up. There was drum and bass so loud we couldn't even talk to each other. It was clearly her “warm-up” that they refuse to suspend. Two tables came in and went out, they didn't even notice. The waitress blew our menu on the table. After 45 minutes we have a bread basket. 55 minutes in our food. My BF got a pasta with cream and mushrooms, okay, would have seasoned more, but whatever. My vegetable wok was uncooked, my vegetables were raw and cold, the onions too, it was simply not delicious and made clear with zero energy. I'm so sorry to write that. I have traveled through Central and South America for three months, trust me that we were places and saw some Sh*t, and this is the first review I take the time for writing. That should say enough.
We went there all family, including 3 teenagers. The menu is based in reginal and natural foods, very well appreciated. It turned out that all dishes were excellent! (a bit to my surprise). I had the Revuelto de Mote, a kind of large-format corn, it was excellent, I have never heard of Mote in my life!! Humita and Cazuela de llama were also excellent. Just note that despite the sign in the window they only take cash, no credit or debit sum. Neither desserts.
These are real people, the sum was $290, but since we don't have money to tap, we gave them $400, and they gave us $10 and they wouldn't admit they were ripped us off, fortunately I checked my money before I went there so I was sure I paid them with $400. Besides, the food was even compared to other places in Tilcara, and the place was full of flies.
We sat, ordered and 45 minutes later we waited for the order to be full. We drank water and went. The waiter went to the street and we told him we couldn't wait for Godot in the afternoon. He turned us back without explanation.
The food was really good. The humitas are delicious. The girl who runs the place is very friendly. One minor: it was very cold when we went there; we had to keep our jackets on.
