Restaurante Verde y Crema - Tijuana

Wow, that was a great experience. The decor is chic industrial but very nicely done - the bar would be a great hangout spot. Nice craft beer selection - I liked the IPA. We were a group of eight and we all left very impressed with both the food and the service. The Korean tacos appetizer was fantastic. Three of us ended ordering the octopus - two baked and one "abodado" - the flavor and portion size were just right. Value was good - we came out to about 25USD a head (with a fair amount of beer around the table included). I'll definitely go back next time I'm in TJ.

Cross the border, jump in uber and head directly here. This is off the main drag and has a very cool and hip industrial vibe. With amazing food and cocktails! Can't wait to go back.

We dined here with a group and were offered a variety of dishes. The atmosphere is lovely, beautiful picturesque bar, relaxed vibe. The salsas and small blue corn tortillas were tasty when served with fillings. My favorite dishes were beet salad, korean tacos--wonderfully spiced, ceviche, and a tender beef dish with potatoes. The service was great. Many craft beers are served. Again, had a language barrier as I don't speak Spanish but still enjoyed the experience. There is a large parking lot next door. Very charming restaurant.

Friend of mine recommended this then I read all the reviews. I prefer to sit at the bar and chat with the bartenders about what they are recommending that date.Other posts mentioned the Korean Tacos which I agree were great. My recommendation is if you go with a date, or better yet, group of friends have everyone order something different and share. For example, there were 3 Korean tacos so it would be good to trade at the table with a couple of others. Wait staff was excellent and the restaurant was still pretty full at 9PM.

My husband and I love this place. Whenever we're in Tijuana, we make sure to visit at least once, more if possible. The food is creative and delicious, inspired by more traditional Mexican cuisine. They use all local ingredients and it's always fresh. They do some organic food, too. Nice ambience, friendly staff. Excellent value for what you pay and worth a visit if you like to try out non-traditional, hip eating places.
