Grizzly Bar - Tignes

One of the better decorated bar-restaurants of the village. First time we went seemed fine although not much variety in food since they don’t actually have a kitchen.. everything is heated up in a small over the counter oven. On the plus side meats are...grilled outside on an open fire! I gave 3 stars because of the poor service we got on our second visit. We went for a beer and weren’t sure if we will eat something and the waitress came twice to ask if we will have food because if not they want the table earlier to sit other potential customers. That happened 10 minutes after we ordered drinks!

Stylish, cosy, comfortable and with delicious food and drinks and an interesting (but pricey) boutique.

We came to eat, they told us to sit, we asked for a umbrella they didn't have. then we waited 45min before they order drinks, we asked to order food too, they replied apologies, we no longer take orders. the cook is too busy? then when we ordered that the food came fast and was good, not amazing, but quite okay. we had 3 or 4 waiters, so unorganized and unprofessional, they forgot many things, they were rude and not as we complained, not in the position to order our food, we was was wasting 2 hours of our ski day. go there if they have a low expectation on food, they have all the time in the world and think they're 't mind french service. on a higher note, they go there if they want quality alcohol and good meat if they are just looking for a drink (not coffee though. with a beautiful decoration and simple access.

Excellent lunch. bbq grilled local sausage and steak. excellent wine. friendly and professional service. stunning interieur. highly recommended.

Really unique experience. beautiful restaurant, with friendly back service. the best part is eating, cooked outside to order. elaborate, but 100% worth every penny. will be back.
