Don Mateo - Tieton

Great little place! Food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. I had the Pupusas and a side of plantains. Will be my new go to, can't wait to try other menu items.

We used to enjoy eating Pupusas frequently when we lived in a more urban area where they were readily available. So, we were excited to discover that there is an El Salvadorian restaurant in the valley. We tried the pork and cheese pupusas, and they were fantastic! They were a good size and not overly greasy. It was definitely worth the drive to Tieton for them. Highly recommend!

I order from this restaurant often. I always receive the upmost attention and timely service. Their food is mouthwateringly delicious.

This is my wife's favorite restaurant! The food is consistently delicious, and the prices are quite reasonable. My wife's top choice is the Adobada (spicy pork) enchiladas. I can't pick just one favorite, but I really enjoy the tortas, enchiladas, pupusas, and taquitos. The family that operates the restaurant is wonderful as well. It’s definitely worth the visit!

We stopped in the small town square of Tieton and chose to dine here. The exterior seems to have been recently renovated, giving it a pleasant and simple aesthetic. The interior could use some improvements, but the focus here is definitely on the food, which is absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the cheese and spinach pupusa along with a side of rice, refried beans, and plantains. I opted for the enchiladas, which had a nice little kick but were still incredibly tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area!
