Thurles Golf Club

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing at any time of day. The prices are very reasonable and they serve beautiful coffee. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant.

While in the area for work, I stumbled upon the golf club and decided to stop in. I was greeted by a beautiful and charming clubhouse. The menu at the club was impressive for a golf club. I was very hungry, so I ordered a beef burger cooked to perfection. It was delicious, but I still had room for a delectable hot apple crumble served with custard, cream, and berries. I also asked for a scoop of ice cream, which the staff happily provided. Needless to say, I left feeling fully satisfied. The prices were reasonable as well. I will definitely be returning!

Great sea bass but limited choice for vegetarians. We were lucky it wasn’t too busy and they fixed a delicious omelette. Plenty space to relax. Welcome service. Great location.

Had lunch atmosphere is lovely and staff are fab my only grievance is there is no main course for a vegetarian I had to settle for a superfood salad it was only OK dressing was very oily and overpowered the sweet potato and everything else on the plate 3 cubes of feta cheese that didn't taste like feta a nice simple light vinegarette would go much better with this the rest of my group had no issues with the beef it looked lovely and big portions. Just maybe a main course veggie dish that's not a salad added to the menu would make a difference

I'm not a golfer but have frequented the bar food/restaurant for a long time so have no specific review but the current providers are indeed ate worthy of a very positive review. Service is lovely and professional. Value is superb and each day has specials alongside Irish favourites such as beef turkey ham but for me it's the pleasant setting and the great value, high quality choice that makes this my eatery of choice in Thurles. The deserts are worthy of a special mention. Highly recommended!
