The Coffee Caramel Roll Cake was absolutely perfect! A delightful treat on a plate.
After attending the Cereal Box event last week, my friend and I braved the cold and opted to walk instead of taking an Uber (a decision we immediately regretted).
Tucked in the middle of Lincoln Street, in between Algoma and Court Street is this small eatery. Finding it was no small feat but worth the effort. Gourmet hot dogs, fish tacos, fresh drinks and other items are on the menu, all with clever names....More
My friend and I went to Lincoln Street Eatery the other day for lunch. We both had hot dogs and both were OK. I can't remember what my friend had. I had a hot dog with green mayo, crispy onions, weiner cooked in Guiness Stout and covered with Smoked Porter cheddar cheese. All sound good, except that the chocolate and mocha notes of stout did not enhance or even come out in the weiner, which looked and tasted like a regular boiled weiner. The cheese tasted like regular cheddar cheese. So the high end ingredients did nothing to enhance the hot dog. I may go back and try some of the other menu items, but I'll pass on the hot dogs.
