Best Bite Shawarma - Thunder Bay

Well-named! Best Bite Shawarma is the ideal spot for those seeking authentic Lebanese cuisine, made with fresh, in-house ingredients and spices. I tried the beef shawarma along with a side of fattoush salad, and I believe I discovered taste buds I never knew I had. The flavors were fantastic, and the portions were more than enough to leave me fully satisfied. The flatbread and hummus were also delightful. Best Bite isn’t a traditional restaurant; they offer delivery options, including through apps like Skip. Tony and his daughter are truly skilled at what they do. They also sell imported goods from Lebanon, allowing you to bring some of those delicious flavors home for your own cooking. The only area for improvement for Best Bite Shawarma would be to enhance the parking situation.

Tony, the owner, is quite the character! He makes a delicious chicken shawarma, and we've swapped out all the sides for his deep-fried cauliflower, which is fantastic. If you find yourself in Thunder Bay, make sure to check him out. His shop also doubles as a convenience store, stocked with a variety of Canadian and Lebanese foods.

When you visit, you'll notice that most patrons interact like neighbors. The food is quite good, but I find the prices a bit steep for my taste. Yet I suppose everything has its worth! The shawarma is packed with flavors and spices from Lebanon and the surrounding region. So come, chat with Tony, and experience his food and culture. Just keep in mind that it might not be to everyone's liking!

I would highly recommend chicken chawarma. Really delicious. Owner is also a nice guy and recommended us a lot of products. Loved it and will go again.

Lebanese people are wonderful people and this restaurant epitomizes the rich taste in food. Please try their Sharwama, it’s a huge hit in Nigeria and they’ve mastered the art which I discovered from them originated from Turkey.
