Bad Ass Street Tacos - Thousand Oaks

Store hours at their location clearly states that they close at 11 PM. We stopped by at 10:30 PM, they were locked up and the employees waved at us saying they were closed. So they closed 30 minutes before closing time??

Did a LARGE catering order and everyone loved the food ! Pick up was easy and food was packaged well.

Food was good. Restaurant was busy. Service was great!

Something happened to this place. It was really good but their food quality/value went way down in the last year. Their cochinita burrito used to be a revelation but now it's small and bland. Seriously they started phoning it in. Fast service but not worth it anymore.

Vibe of the restaurant was good, decorated nicely and Instagram worthy. Cashier was kind as well as the person packaging up food. Food is bland. I got asada tacos, and birria tacos with fire roasted chili salsa. Asada was bland, there was barely any salsa on the taco and the cilantro and onion were minimal. The birria was seasoned better but again minimal toppings on the taco itself. Guacamole was pretty bland as well, just avocado smashed with pico de gallo mixed in. I should have gotten extra salsa on the side maybe I would have enjoyed my food more. -Gentrified food, probably highly rated in the area because of the clientele they have.
