This was absolutely delicious! I just had the BBQ combo, and the meat was outstanding. I give it a 4 out of 5 because the macaroni salad was a bit bland, but honestly, I didn't even need the extra carbs.
I absolutely loved this restaurant! We were in town for a short visit and discovered it through some prior reviews. I'm a big fan of Hawaiian cuisine, and this was among the best I've ever tasted. The Loco Moco was particularly outstanding. My wife ordered the chicken barbecue plate, and she really enjoyed it as well. My only minor complaint is that the macaroni salad was a bit bland. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a quick plate lunch!
This spot may look a bit rundown, but the food is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable! We tried the mini Kalua Pork, a BBQ combo plate, and gravy fries. It was more than enough for two adults and three little kids. Everything we ordered was served hot and fresh. We’ll definitely return. Aloha!
The restaurant itself is small but offers plenty of seating. It was relatively clean, and when we arrived for an early lunch around 10:45, there was only one person managing the place. She was both cooking and taking orders, whether in person or over the phone. I felt a bit sorry for her and didn’t mind waiting a little longer for our food. Thankfully, just as lunch started to get busy, two additional staff members arrived to lend a hand. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the area and craving Hawaiian cuisine. It seems to have a loyal local following!
