The service was quite rapid; we arrived at 3:00 and finished by 4:00. It’s a cozy little spot with seating for about 50 guests, and the service was outstanding.
Been coming here for years and my in laws and husband for years before that! Good food and good service. Only complaint is I wish they were open more days.
I want to start this review giving credit to the staff. Service was outstanding and we had a good experience according to service. The food on the other hand was not very good. Just being honest. Seriously thought we would get good quality food based off of the vibes. But we (myself, my wife, mother in law, father in law and kids) disliked the food. Sauces were not very tasteful and the pasta was poorly made. The homemade soups were not that great. More like broth with the littlest amounts of noodles as possible. 1/10 Spaghetti sauce was very distasteful. I honestly feel that I would had better food hands down from fazolis. 1/10 Chicken picatta was like eating cream of mushroom soup with boiled chicken. Oh with some capers added. 1/10 Fettuccine Alfredo was not that bad. Best thing we had there. 3/10 Breads were not fresh and had the smallest portion of garlic bread the price you pay us crazy. Plus I feel like they were frozen. 0/10 I hate that I even have to make a review like this because I 'm all for people taking risk and starting their own business. I am sure there are some people that feel this place is great and that I 'm crazy but it 's just my whole families experience there. Again.. staff was great and very nice. If they could change up their food and the way it 's prepared. Then they would be doing amazingly in my opinion.
Well unfortunately, we didn 't have a chance to step inside the door, but I guess by looking at some of the reviews maybe that wasn 't such a bad thing after all. Me and my wife had been wanting to try this place for a while, since our oldest daughter had eaten here before, and gave it rave reviews (before the pandemic). This past Saturday, we had been craving Italian food, and called right at three, so that we could make reservations for six that evening. Now, I could hear the conversation, as we were calling from the car, and it was on speaker. The lady that my wife was speaking too, either didn 't like her job, or was having a bad day, either way she had a bad attituded from the beginning of the call. OH, and by the way, her name was JODIE , not sure if this is the correct spelling, and quite honestly, I don 't care if it is spelled wrong. Even with the bad attitude that JODIE had, my wife proceeded to ask if we needed to make reservations, since it was going to be six of us, and JODIE , proceeded to say yes, at what time. At which time, by wife said somewhere around 5:00 and 5:30. Now usually the correct response would be, we have both times available, which one would you like. However, JODIE proceeded to say, WELL YOU NEED TO PICK A TIME, WE CAN 'T HOLD THE TABLE FOR YOU FOR 30 MINUTES . Me and my wife both looked at each other with amazement of how rude she responded, and I nodded no to my wife. My wife then told JODI , never mind, we were going to go somewhere else, and hung up. It was really disheartening, that a simple phone call like this, can turn someone away, that has been wanting to give this place a try for at least the past year 1/2. However, if the food is as bad as the attitude of JODIE , who answered the phone, then maybe this was a blessing in disguise. Remember, the first rule of customer service is, answer the phone with a smile, because you don 't know who you are talking too on the other end, and who all will be listening to the call. Keep in mind, most iPhone 's are linked to the car, which in turn is linked to the speakers to who all is in that car.
For my main dish, I had the stuffed shells accompanied by one meatball and one sausage, and we also ordered a side of Alfredo sauce that was possibly the best I've ever tasted. My husband had the scallops aglio e olio, and when I asked him how it was, he exclaimed, "Oh my gosh! This is amazing!" To finish off our dinner, we tried the Italian wine ice cream. A special shoutout to the young busboy who was cleaning tables; he was efficient and polite! You definitely need to check this place out—we will certainly be back! Yum!
