Cafe On Sea - Thornton Range

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this hidden gem. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. It seems like they may have recently changed ownership, as I didn't experience any issues with lack of rolls or tablets wrapped in tinfoil like mentioned in previous reviews.

We were just looking for a coffee and a snack, and we were greeted by a very hospitable and friendly waitress. We enjoyed a delicious homemade roll and the coffee was decent. Our walk on the beach afterwards was very enjoyable and a rewarding experience.

Unfortunately, the best thing I can say about this cafe is that it is clean. My partner ordered the barramundi and I had the seafood basket, but everything seemed to be frozen with no fresh seafood in sight. It was disappointing for a place like this. Just stop by for a coffee and a walk on the beach.

We came here at a very busy time of the year and a busy time of the day staff stood before us and told us our meal would be a past when we ran shortly before the time (we had a tour that just went on the road) they packed our meals for us to take with us

We had a great lunch stop here on our drive up to Cape Tribulation. We ordered beef hamburgers that were homemade, fresh and delicious.
