Food was delicious however a young bloke who was new was spoken to by what I believe to be the person in charge like absolute rubbish, humiliating him in front of myself n other customers .. I bit my tongue but it was **** hard Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1

Have been here alot and never walk out having a nice experience. The staff are rude towards each other and to the customers especially when they are busy. Not hard to put a smile on your face and have some respect for people. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Walked in and waited 15 minutes to get served with only 3 customers in front of me. 5 staff members working I could tell one was new but the girl training her was very abrupt with her and they put too much pressure on the new girl when they could have had a solid production line and got customers out quicker and happy. Manager was out the back but come out and it got slower as she didn’t jump on to serve and help get rid of the customers. Cleanliness of the store is beyond sad can tell the register area hasn’t been dusted or even cleaned in months. Thornton subway is in a prime spot and can be extremely successful but they need to put customers first and concentrate on store cleanliness. During the lunch rush I would suggest all hands on deck because a lot of customers are coming to Thornton subway for a lunch break and need to be in and out. Happy customers always return.
