Fibonacci - Thornton

I went to this place recently and was stunned to have to pay $4.30+ for an ok-tasting small flat white coffee! This is the most expensive I have found, ever for a small coffee. It wasn't that special. As I've recently changed my diet to reduce carbs I asked for fried eggs and bacon on the side with no toast. I asked if the price of $12 was the same without toast and was told that they charged per serve, not what was in the serve (or something similar). I checked again and was quite officiously told the same information. The woman serving me (possibly the manager?) was quite unfriendly and unkind in her manner. Many cafes would reduce the cost if you could not eat all of the meal components. I did not enjoy my eggs and bacon paying that ridiculous cost and would never go there again. There are so many other places who don't charge like wounded bulls and are not so money-hungry.

Good coffee and cakes. I have taken business clients here for a sandwich and coffee. The food is good and a well presented shop.

I love Fibonacci coffee but I might be biased because they make me coffee just the way I like it everytime. My favourite coffee in Maitland

My friends and I had come her for a quiet breakfast after our Christmas party last night and found that although the toast was large and well coloured, it was lukewarm at best. The eggs on the Eggs Benedict were hard, though it did have good presentation. The fried eggs were covered in the grease from all of the other food that was on the hot plate and instead of being white, were toned a rather dark grey. Ordering a thick shake will get you a really cold milkshake, while ordering a milkshake will get you a cool milk with a hint of flavour that you order. The management argue to each other at the counter whilst handing out food and are incapable of handing out food and drinks in a timely manner.

Stopped in for a coffee after a large shop at Coles. I ordered from the counter and the coffees were delivered to our table in a reasonable time.Lovely staff and great coffee(however have to pay more if using their mugs - don't like washing up? ). We relaxed and enjoyed our coffee while reading newspapers they provided .
