Wimpy's Diner - Thornhill

The last time I went here they had not expanded and we were squished into the small restaurant.Wow, it looks so much better.A very extensive menu and it's also very good.Service was great too.It is busy though so you might have to wait.They are very accommodating and moved a 2 over to make a table for four.This is also a really good choice for breakfast served all day.I will go back.A nice surprise!

I used to go here like everyday and they are 24 hours, always open, always great coffee, the food is a1a high quality, expect to spend $30 if you want the two meal deal

We've been going to this Wimpey's way too often for well over a decade. The food is typical diner fare and the portions are generous. I mean, nothing special there and nothing all that different from hundreds of other diners in town. However, the service there is truly exceptional. IMHO, the hallmark of any good restaurant - be it 5-star haute cuisine or a kitschy diner - is simply hiring really friendly and really efficient staff. And in that, Wimpey's truly excels.

We always come here when we are in the area for great comfort food that is healthy.Portions are huge! Awesome toasted western made with 3 or 4 eggs..wow!!! Fish andchips are great but I love the grilled haddock the best...have it on a greek salad, yum!The fifties era diner decor takes me back to simpler times with hearty daily soups.

Visited wimpy's twice now. Once for dinner and once for lunch. Both meals were really good. Kids love the all day breakfast. Lots of options. Service was fast. Kids really liked the diner decor and thought it was cool. Only recommendation is that the French fries could have been better...only because we prefer skinny fries...so not a complaint but just a preference.
