Vegan Danish Bakery - Thornhill

This bakery offers a variety of sweet and savory baked goods, including sandwiches for those looking for a full meal. I tried the BLT sandwich and the Tiramisu, both of which were delicious, especially the Tiramisu. It reminded me of the non-vegan version I used to love. The coffee flavors were rich and satisfying. The bakery itself has a chic atmosphere with elegant decor and lovely classical music playing in the background.

This is definitely the best vegan bakery I have tried in the Greater Toronto Area. It's a charming little business with incredibly tasty treats that you wouldn't even know are vegan. Many of my friends have raved about their cupcakes, and every flavor I've tried has been delicious. My personal favorites are the strawberry and lemon flavors, but honestly, they're all fantastic. In addition to the cupcakes, I've also tried their custom cakes, butter tarts, Danish pastries, turnovers, scones, and more – and everything was delicious. I even had a sandwich once that was probably my favorite item I've tried, but I tend to lean towards sweet treats.

Very nice small cafe area and good eating, but I wouldn't say that eating is amazing or great. nice atmosphere and nice staff.

A visiting family was kind enough to bring some goodies from VDB for dinner. We weren’t even of the existence of this bakery so we were pleasantly surprised as well as the gesture by family. The Tiramisu Cheesecake (10 out of 5 was sublime and was amongst the best vegan cheesecake we have ever had. In fact it would be right near the top as well even compared to non vegan cheesecakes we have ever had. The Chocolate Biscotti (10 out of 5 was again a grand slam. It’s been a while since I had a biscotti since we turned vegan and this just hit the spot. With coffee OMG! Although we got to eat half, it was very satisfying. Danish Rum Balls (10 out of 5) my favourite ice cream flavour at one was Rum Raisin and this DRB bought memories of those days. Perfectly flavoured with rum, and the raisins were a bomb with rum flavour. Just mind blowing. Butter Pecan Tarts (5 out of 5). Very good tarts. Not too sweet, the pie shell, very well done and baked to perfection. The Danish Pastry (3 out of 5). They are not my favourite and this didn’t change my mind. Mind you nothing wrong with pastry itself. Please let this be my last desserts if I had my way!
