Tara Vietnamese Grill - Thornhill

This is my first time to eat in TARA, it is a very friendly and cozy restaurant served by my neighbor. My wife chose this new place to celebrate my birthday, the experience proves that she made a proper choice - good service and good food. We like the rice paper roll with grilled chicken, since most of the typical Viet rest offer rice paper roll only with shrimps (but my wife is allergic to shrimp tho, so no luck to try this roll until TODAY in Tara) We also had a good chat with the owner and noticed that they were from Montreal and us too! What a nice chance to meet the pages from your hometown. We will definitely be back for more rolls -both roasted spring roll and rice paper roll. Go to TARA.

I ate Pho all my life, but TARA takes it to a new level. The Pho is so refined and the soup broth is of an amazing quality. My wife and I tried many articles on the menu and they were all excellent. This is a destination restaurant for us while we live in downtown, but if we want Vietnamese food, we will make the trip safe.

Enjoy the caramelized pork bell Vermicelli bowl! Loved the fresh herbs and mango in it! Get so amazing and warm hospitality from the wonderful family that runs this restaurant.

Cute little place to have a quick bite to eat. Family-run restaurant; the couple running the place are very kind and courteous. The golden crispy spring rolls were delicious and the pho was fresh. Place is decorated with pictures taken from their trip to Vietnam which gives it a personal touch. The only thing I didn?t like is the bubble tea; granted I wasn?t expecting much as this is not a bubble tea shop. I would suggest getting a smoothie instead as it is way better and you still get tapioca and jelly like a bubble tea.
