Sushi Wa - Thornhill

Had the meal for 2, for the 4 of us (2 adult 2 children) which was quite good. a chicken caraage added as an appetizer. I thought it was a bit short on salt and taste, but it was also my first time here, so was not sure what to expect. the miso suppe was fantastic, ditto with the sea salad along with a bowl edamame. along with a boatload of sushis and huhn teriyaki it was also quite mouthful for the 4 of us. the rolled sushis were fantastic and full of taste, the sashimi and nitriri felt a little flat. but I am not a sushi identifier, so take that with a korn salt. would go back to try the other bits in the menu safely

This is the best place in all southern ontario for sushi. the quality, the personal, the prices, all factors come together to eat this to my favourite place. If they're not here yet, they'll make a point. wonderful place!

Been coming here for years because the food and service is always superb. Extremely fresh food and high quality, with a wide assortment of sashimi to choose from. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
