Le Kar'Pat'Ciao - Thônes

Thones is a small village about 20 minutes from annecy, but has a lot of competition, so the restaurants are usually much better for eating than annecy, where everyone can serve a pizza and tear off the tourist in the summer. if you're not good at thones, you're going out of business. this place has good food and the people are nice. if they want the best fish and chips in the region, they go here and the coffee is also excellent!

When they arrived at the end of a service without announcing a restaurent, they always wonder how they are received and what kind of life means they could be offered!? now, the warm smiles on my « do... still serve » and the « let them see what can still be done. » made my worry already breaking together ... 2 options that are then offered from the menu, not less, but two beautiful different dishes ... and the ones I choose was wonderful, a tartiflette does not need much skills to do, but a good tartiflette needs pride and passions ... bravo!

We found this place by chance, passing in front of it, and luckily we stopped!! The place is small and cozy, and the team is very very welcoming and attentive! The food is great, and the disches and very beautifully prepared!!!

And the one I choose was splendid , a tartiflette doesn’t need a lot of skills to do but a good tartiflette needs proud and passions ... Bravo !

We ate here at the end of our holiday. We didn't book and they were able to accommodate 5 of us. It's a very cute and intimate restaurant. The menu covers a few traditional French cuisine options as well as steak, ribs and burgers. I...had the steak, which was cooked just as I asked, the chips were lovely. My husband had the pork ribs which were tender and juicy. My 3 fussy children all had chicken burgers which involved them asking for no lettuce, tomatoes etc and everyone was satisfied! The waitress was fab, spoke good English and took us through anything on the menu we weren't sure of. We shared 3 puddings amongst the 5 of us, the profiteroles were huge, banana split was yummy too. It was reasonable priced for 5. If we visit again we will 100% come back. This should be down as top restaurant in Thones.
