Starbucks - Thomasville

We are trapped. With my wife 's infatuation with Starbucks ' Iced Chai Latte (one extra pump of chai please) and my well I might as well have something too attitude, there 's a good chance that when we come to Thomasville that we are stopping by here for sips for the ride back to Tallahassee. It looks like a Starbucks with all the latest bells and whistles when I look through the drive through window while we get our order. It 's easy in and out with a turn in aligned with the Lowe 's across Highway 19 so there 's a traffic light. As a result you can go either direction with ease on 19 when you leave without risking an accident. We order and pay via the app and they get our orders right (including that extra pump of chai) so we get to enjoy our sips for the pleasant ride home.

I usually love this place but lately it has been bad. Staff cannot arrive on time and open by 6am opening time. You sit in the drive thru for several minutes before getting an answer and when they finally come they apologize for “running behind” .. I’ve had this problem my last 3 visits.. I understand things happen but this seems to have become a normal thing. I come at opening because I have to be at work by 6:15 and have to get out of line or be late. If the staffing issues are that bad maybe change the opening time and not get customers hopes up for coffee at 6am.

I wish I had the name of the older white barista who was taking orders via drive thru today (11/14/23) between 5:00 5:30p.m. very rude to paying customers. I had a mobile order I notified her from the order window and her attitude was poor from the jump. I told her I would like to add something else to my order and she said “what” super aggressive. To be fair there was no one in line but it is raining outside so maybe the gloomy weather is to blame for the interaction however it’s not acceptable.

This Starbucks has the worst costumer service! It takes forever for anyone to get your order on the drive through and than waiting forever to receive your order, hoping is done correctly...I am talking about 30 to 40 min wait when they are only 2 cars before me. That's in regular basis!

The kindness this location showed me today almost brought me to tears. Beyond generous and kind in a time of need. Affected by the hurricane I drove 40 miles to work and this was a wonderful soft landing for me. The pumpkin latte was a nice touch lol. Sweet note on the top of my coffee made my heart happy and my soul calm! Thank you ??
