Oesterdam Resort - Tholen

We stayed in the royal suite for one night and it was a great stay. A quiet, immaculate and luxurious hotel with a blissful bubble bath in the ensuite bathroom. The view over the lake was relaxing and the king size bed guaranteed a good night's sleep. The breakfast was tasty and well prepared and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. Een reservering met annuleringsverzekering gemaakt voor over een paar maanden. Helaas kan deze niet doorgaan. Relatief snel proberen te annuleren (dag na boekingsdatum) rekeninghoudend met seizoen en nu is deze kwestie helaas nog steeds niet afgewikkeld. Contact opgenomen met resort en het bedrijf waarbij de annuleringsverzekering is afgesloten en wordt hierbij helaas van het kastje naar de muur gestuurd. Nice rooms and that's about it. Certainly not a hotel for children, although you would expect something different from a resort/holiday park. Do you book 1 night and do you have children? Then you cannot go swimming and use your room afterwards because you can only do that from 11 am (after check-out) and until 1 pm (before check-in). Very clumsy with babies.. The person who made this up apparently has no children of his own because they take afternoon naps during these hours. Very unfriendly reception.
