Thai Chillout Restaurant - Thirroul

We ordered take away via online but I had done something wrong as they had no record of my order, never mind,m it wasn't a long wait and when it was ready the cook came out of the kitchen with the food apologising that we...had to wait; plus she had added an extra serving of food because of the wait and insisted on giving my little granddaughter numerous chocolates from the counter, what a sweet lady, and oh of course the food? excellent, rice, vegetarian spring rolls and tofu vegies with chilli, the best!

This is a restaurant with a big dining area, the food is great, the service is always wonderful, dishes are very reasonably priced,

I think we must have eaten at a different restaurant than the other reviewers. Our service was quick and polite. The Massaman beef was beautiful, the pad see ew was lovely and the others loved the red curry duck. The rice was generous and well...cooked. I would definitely eat there again.

Ordered the basic Thai food that any Thai restaurant should be able to cook First the food was delivered almost an hour later than advised The food arrived cold The musman curry was full of gristle and barely any beef which we had to pay...extra for The spring rolls were nothing but vermicelli noodles and completely tasteless The pad seew was burnt and had burnt bits of garlic Couldn't use credit card, had to find cash When we rang to find where the food was the staff didn't know or couldn't help us Worst experience ever strongly recommend no one eat this food

Can't believe how simple Thai food can taste so bad. Guys please invest in decent meat cuts and hold off with the fat and gristle. It's just low quality. No thanks, many better options in Thirroul.
