What a nice little pub. Recommended by a local, the staff were friendly, service was quick and the food great. All for a reasonable price .

Very nice pub in Vale village. Very good food menu. Friendly staff. Quiz nights (Monday) are very good and well attended.

Fabulous lunch, our visiting family were very impressed with the risotto. Lovely food and the manager was very attentive. A little gem of a pub.

A little disappointed on this occasion. The mains were great but it all fell apart over dessert. We ordered 3 desserts, 2 of which required custard. Apparently they'd run out only had a very tiny drop left to share between 2. However, this had unfortunately been served in a dirty gravy boat that was still covered in gravy around the top!! Once this was pointed out though the staff were very apologetic and didn't charge for the desserts. An unfortunate thing to happen but they were hugely busy and run off their feet. We will return and would still recommend.
