The Gin Garden - The Rocks

I recently had a breakfast meeting at a restaurant in a garden setting. I was pleased with the location and ambiance, but I was disappointed to see that some of the typical items on the menu, such as Lein Seed Toast with Avocado and Feta, were not included in the $20 price and had to be added on separately. The breakfast spread included items like grains, bread, fruit, yogurt, and juice, but overall, I found the menu to be on the pricey side.

The Gin Garden, located at the back of the establishment on George Street, consistently offers delicious food. They have a great selection of traditional British dishes as well as Asian cuisine.

This place is not always open as it serves as a pop-up bar specializing in Gin, and I think it closes again for winter, but hopefully will come back in the same location next summer. The gin-based cocktails here are... shameful, love comes here to catch up with friends. Nicely decorated. Can't wait until it's back!!

This is a sweet little place to meet for drinks, look at many things and the magnificent Sydney Harbour. The weather was terrible, but a few glasses of wine and some tapas made it all better. Yes I like...I looked like a drowned dog and smelled like garlic from the precious hummus (it was really good), but the bar and waiting staff were undisputed and rude. Not acceptable in these days....then again is garlic breathing!
