Contribuiți la feedbackWhile I can't say that the food overall was bad, I was pleased with the seafood dish and the delicious sauces. The service was also friendly and efficient. However, I was extremely disappointed with the exorbitant price of the steak I ordered. It was over $100 for what was supposed to be a 300g cut, but felt more like 200g or less. It definitely did not live up to the expectation of a delicate, melt-in-your-mouth wagyu steak. I have had better and more tender steaks from the grocery store.
Service. the 2 Vietnamese ladies who served us were very nice. but the service was extremely slow. seated at 8 given beverage menu , 8.15 accepted order, 8.25 weinbier came to 8.34 cocktails, while the 1st part of the meal served. The...Nepalese “ teppanyaki”, who had worked very nicely very hard, had no warning. I was in teppanyaki all over the world the chef showmanship is the main reason why they do it. the whole meal was very ordinar, the beef highlight had still pfeifenmarken vom jockey. just terrible meat full of gristle fat. I know I have to march this bestie to eat marble. toilet needed bele to climb down the stairs and it must be waited when they catch the drift. this was the most overcrowded bad value for her money restaurant that I've ever been all over the world. this restaurant is about as Japanese as I am. the chef was Nepalese, the waiter vietnamesian l, would be nice to see 1 Japanese person. $840 for 4 for 1 drink 1:4 bottle wein each (1 of the cheapest weine $68 what a tear never again
This restaurant is too expensive and lacks atmosphere. The staff are focused on their serving methods and struggle to accommodate special requests or answer basic questions, like how to serve a child's meal.
Last night, I had the opportunity to dine with some other people at this lovely restaurant. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. The staff were professional and attentive. It was great value for the price. I will definitely be returning.
I want to start by saying the staff and service were lovely. But I was disappointed in the food, and the ambience. The restaurant lacks the vibe of my other teppan dining experiences. The building is a lovely historical place, but inside feels sterile and...not Japanese at all. The downstairs area had an old fat smell to it, that thankfully was not in the dining area. Priced in the higher range for this style of restaurant in Sydney, the quality of the food was much lower. The seafood was nice, but the 'extras ' on our set menu were so basic. Minimal vegetable, no egg, and the rice smelled like dirty cloth. Most disappointing was the meat not in Japan, or anywhere else in the world that I have enjoyed teppanyaki, have I had fatty beef. Yes, I know wagyu has fat, but It was chunks of fat on my little bite sized bits of steak. The chef also served up the fat off cuts, which I 'm sure people enjoy, but why it was also on the rest of the steak I don 't know. Way too much money to spend to be left feeling disappointed in the food.
